Ella Webb Fencing

She discovered a passion for fencing in her native Michigan and with the help and encouragement of her family earned a place on the University of North Carolina women’s fencing team in 2022.

Ella tells her story and outlines steps to success to young fencers and their families through group Zoom sessions or Zoom consulting opportunities.

Ella is an articulate, stimulating presenter with a fresh story on what it takes to go through the progressions of the sport. She helps young fencers be accountable to what it takes to succeed.  Ella is dedicated to delivering results to her clients by understanding their situations and goals and moving forward.

Group Sessions

Ella will detail the following elements from her experience to share with young fencers and their families in a live group setting via Zoom with Q&A opportunities as well in this 60 minute time frame.

  • How I Got Here – a brief description of her path from novice fencer to varsity team member, focusing on how young fencers can learn from her experiences and direction.
  • Dedication toward the goal – Understanding that this is not easy, Ella will describe the hard work and commitment to advance based on her own experiences and skill development process.
  • A Work Plan for the young fencer – This GPS for fencing success is one of the most important aspects of these sessions and will help young fencers understand what steps lay ahead on this path.

One on One Sessions

In addition to content from the Group Session program, Ella will provide the following in these 60 minute Zoom interactions.

  • Talk directly with the young fencer and family to customize a conversation about their goals and how to achieve them. This includes a “From Where You Are to Future College Fencing” discussion.
  • This one on one aspect also allows for more time for Ella to work with the young fencer in mentoring of progress toward specific goals.
